Rick Field

Tasmanian born, Rick started his professional career in the banking industry in 1981 with ANZ Bank. During his time at ANZ, Rick held office as Branch Accountant at the Sandy Bay and Huonville offices.

Rick developed extensive knowledge of aspects relating to Sales and Marketing and a comprehensive lending background.

In 1996, Rick felt there was more to offer clients in the Financing sector and decided to open his consulting business based at Moonah.

Building on his excellent reputation in the Tasmanian market, Rick then moved the business to Glenorchy which has only contributed to the success of what has become one of Tasmania’s leading financial services.

Rick has developed a strong team and prides on delivering an excellent service to his clientele. Many people have benefited from Rick’s personal approach including First Home Buyers, Parliamentarians, Sporting Identities and Major Investors.

Rick lives in the Northern Suburbs with his partner Stephenie and their three children. In his recreational time Rick enjoys entertaining friends, camping and most sports.

Stephenie Barrett

Stephenie started with United Home Loans Tasmania in 2000 as Receptionist and as the company has grown now holds her current role as Business Systems Manager. Born in NSW, Stephenie’s career started in the Hospitality Industry as a Sales and Marketing Manager and later moved into the Finance Industry with Interest Research Bureau investigating client’s overdrafts and mortgages for bank discrepancies and overpayments in interest. After moving to Tasmania in 1997, Steph worked in the finance industry with a Tasmanian Financial Services consultant and later moved to Qantas.

Steph's role is hard to define however her major priority is to ensure clients loans settle as smoothly as possible and to assist with any post-approval enquiries.

In her recreation time, she enjoys spending time with family, shopping, camping, 4 Wheel driving, scrapbooking, reading and listening to music. She also loves entertaining her friends.

Stephenie is a Committee Member for Moonah Glenorchy Business Association which has been in existance for over 50 years. She encourages all business owners in the area to join and benefit from such a professional organisation. She was also past President of the Glenorchy Better Business Association.

Lauren Terry

Lauren joined United Home Loans Tasmania early 2008 as our Receptionist and is now in the role as Special Projects Clerk. She has come from the finance background after working with one of Australia's major banks. Lauren's role as our casual member is to assist with our data entry (among other tasks set) and as a support to other staff. She is only too happy to assist with any enquries during this time.

Lauren lives north of the city with her partner and two daughters. In her recreation time enjoys, going to the gym and furthering her knowledge in the fitness world, playing with her girls, spending time with family and friends and shopping.

Zoie Crawford

We welcome Zoie to the team who has fit in very well. She comes with extensive experience in administration and reception duties. Zoie will greet you with a smile whether it be on your visit to the office or over the phone.

She's a country girl from Oatlands but lives in the outer Northern Suburbs. In her recreation time, Zoie enjoys running around a netball court, spending time with her family and friends.
